Candle Spell - Protection, Lord Shiva
Are you feeling attacked by negative energies, do you need to cleanse your home or do you wish to do a simple protection spell for your family?
In this post I will share a very powerful candle spell for protection. It is targeted to Lord Shiva. You can repeat the candle spell in periods where you need more protection.
TIMING: ANY DAY
The Candle Spell
You need!
At the very minimum you only need the candles and the paper to burn with your protection wishes. You can exclude the part of working with Shiva if it does not suit you.
* 3 white or black candles, tall candles
* Lord Shivas Trident carved into the candles
* Sage, Frankincense, Coconut or Mustard Oil to anoint the candle. Anoint the candles from the middle towards both ends for banishing
* Rosemary, Black Pepper, Cayenne to dress the candles
* Tulsi or Bael leaves, Sandalwood or Shiva incense to burn as an offering to Shiva
* A cauldron or a heat resistant plate to burn your protection wishes on
* Paper and pen
* Lord Shiva Mantras, find on YouTube
* A symbol for Lord Shiva. Could be picture or statue of Lord Shiva. You can also write his name on a paper. Or write down one of his mantras.
* Salt, Tulsi Leaves or flowers
Choose the ingredients you have. You dont need to dress the candles if you dont want to.
Do like this!
* Prepare your space and the ingredients. Dress and carve the candles before the spellwork.
* Setup: You will setup everything in a Trident Shape. Make a Trident pattern with the salt, flowers or Tulsi leaves on your table. Place the candles, the cauldron and the symbol for Lord Shiva in the pattern of the trident. The 3 candles will be at the top of each tip of the trident. The cauldron or heat resistant plate will be at the base of the trident. Youur chosen symbol for Lord Shiva will be at the base of the trident. Now you are ready to start.
* Sit down in front of your setup. Play the Shiva Mantra. Burn some of the incense and smudge your space. With your own words invite Lord Shiva and also call in your Spirit Guides for protection and support.
* Time to start the spell. Say out loud as you light each separate candle:
The 1 st candle I light to banish evil from my life and from the life of my loved ones
The 2 nd candle I light to cleanse my home from negative energies
The 3 rd candle I light to protect me and my family from any evil that may come.
* The Spell is in its working as long as the candles are burning. While the candles are burning you can meditate and visualize what you need help with.
* If you have specific things you need protection with. You can write them down in detail on a piece of paper. Petition your requests for help by burning the paper and releasing it to Spirit.
* Do not leave your candles burning unwatched. Sit and focus on your spell as long as the candles are burning.
* When the candles have burnt out. The spellwork is complete. Place the Symbol for Lord Shiva on your altar or close to the entrance of your house. Thank Shiva and your Spirit Guides for helping you.
** If you used flowers in your spell you can keep them. Put them in a bowl of water and keep close to the entrance to your house.
** Read the candle wax. Optional.
