Home cleanse with salt

Do you feel like your home is in need of a cleanse? Do the energy feels stagnant or do you feel heaviness in your home? In this post I will share a simple and effective salt cleanse that will absorb any negative energy that has accumulated in your house. So that your home can be filled with positive and fresh energy.

TIMING: new moon and full moon

You need!

Salt, preferably organic, Himalayan, black salt or sea salt

A white candle

You will have to put a handful of salt in each corner of your home and the rooms that you are cleansing. You can decide if you want to place the salt on small plates or directly on the floor. You need quite a lot of salt. You can choose to cleanse only one room or the whole house.

*Light the candle and call in your spirit guides

*Hold your hand over the salt and and pray

PRAYER

Thank you mother earth and the spirit of salt. Cleanse my home of negative energy and absorb stagnant and old energy that does not serve me anymore.

*Start placing the salt in each corner of the house. Walk in a clockwise direction. Gently bend your knees as you place the salt on the floor. Be mindful of what you are doing. Keep your intentions clear. It is your home that you are cleaning energetically.

*Leave the salt for 24 hours. Use a simple broom to collect the salt and then throw the salt out the front door or flush it down the toilet.
