Our homes are sacred and important to us. The energy that we keep in our homes and the energetic state of our homes greatly affects our wellbeing. We might want to proctect protect our homes in a discrete and powerful way.

In this post I will share a simple way to turn objects in your home into sacred objects of power. Into living talismans. We will make a magical oil that you can use to anoint your doors and windows with. That will make your doors and windows into magical protective barriers.

TIMING: NEW MOON, WAXING MOON, FULL MOON

For this Spell you need!

A seed oil such as almond, sunflower, sesame oil or coconut oil.

Salt

A small glass jar with a lid and a spoon

Incense

You can make a small batch or a bigger one. Use about on tsp of salt for 100 ml of oil.

You can add extra herbs to the blend if you wish such as Rosemary, chili, cloves or a drop of holy water or florida water.

Proceed like this!

*Cast a sacred circle of protection around you by visualising a white circle around you.  Say out loud: white protective circle activate. 

*Call in your guides into the sacred space. Say out loud: Guiding spirits, I welcome you into this sacred space help me in my spellwork.

Smudge yourself and your items. 

*In your glass jar mix the ingredients together while chanting: Powers of protection, powers of peace, I invoke you to come alive in this healing concoction. Do it with intent and power. For at least one minute.

*Leave the mixture to soak in the sunlight and the moonlight for some hours. Keep the lid on.

*Choose a protective symbol like a cross, or the elk rune. And draw it on your door. It can be thin and not too big. Draw the same symbol on your windows(window sill, to not make the glass dirty). While chanting: Protection threefold in body, mind and soul. With this seal all things harmful are kept away. So be it.

*The spell will support you energetically as you take steps to manifest your desire. It does not work without your participation - it does not do the work for you. But it helps build positive energy and increases the flow of opportunities to align with your desire.

*Close the space and thank your spirit guides. Say out loud: thank guiding spirits for your support the spell work is comeplete. And then close the space by crossing it out. Imagine a white cross over the circle and say out loud: sacred space dissolve. 

**Save the rest of the oil if you did not use all of it. You can use the magical oil on to protect your car as well, on the wheels of your car for example. Or use it on the souls of your shoes.

***You can fortify your protection every month on the full or new moon.
