Letter Ritual, Release Negative Thoughts

Do you need to release a negative thought pattern that has been weighing on your mind?


Burning has long been used as a ritual of release, so today I’m going to show you a simple burning ritual. You only need a paper and a pen. This is one of the most simplest release rituals.


Writing down what is a powerful way to show dedication to your intentions. Writing is a ritual that we use daily.


TIMING: full moon, waning moon

For this ritual you need!


*A paper

*A pen

*A candle

*A fire proof bowl


Proceed like this!


*Cast a sacred circle of protection around you by visualising a white circle around you.  Say out loud: white protective circle activate. 


Call in your guides into the sacred space. Say out loud: Guiding spirits(name them), I welcome you into this sacred space help me in my spellwork.

Smudge yourself and your items. 


*Spend time meditating and deciding on what you feel you need to release.


*Write on the paper what you are releasing.

Some ideas:

I am releasing....MY FEAR FEAR OF BEING HURT....So be it.


*Read the list out loud before your burn it. Chant "burn, be gone and be released, you are banished from my life and I am free". While you watch the paper burn in the fire proof bowl.


*Close the space and thank your spirit guides. Say out loud: thank guiding spirits(name them) for your support the spell work is comeplete. And then close the space by crossing it out. Imagine a white cross over the circle and say out loud: sacred space dissolve. 


*Spread the ashes in the wind.

Your ritual is complete!
