Sigil Magick - Manifest

Are you trying to manifest something special? And are looking for ways to support your manifestation with some extra magick? In this post I will share how to create a Word Sigil. A Sigil is a symbol or image used in ritualistic magic to influence energies to your benefit. This Sigil will bind energy to your manifestations and help you achieve your goals.

The word Sigil comes from the Latin word sigillum which means seal. Or the Hebrew word segula which means talisman. A Sigil is used to attract a specific energy or a desire or to direct energy towards a specific intention. They can also be used to call upon spirits. The Seals of Solomon are very famous type of Sigils used to summon spirits.

The Sigils works directly with the subconscious mind. It bypasses the conscious minds limitations. Sigils can be carwed, drawn or painted. Into jewellery, sacred objects, into food, candles, paper, on your skin or on the ground. There are destructible, temporary and permanent Sigils.

In this post I will share how to make a temporary Word Sigil. You can make one or several for different purposes.

Create your own Sigil!

For this Sigil we will use a rough stone. You can use the stone with your Sigil in your meditations or carry it with you as a Talisman. Or keep it in your office or on your Altar.

If you can't find a rough stone use paper, or paint on a canvas, you can also paint on a piece of wood if you like.

You can create several Sigils if you wish. For different purposes.

You need!

*A rough flat stone or other

*Acrylic colors or a marker

*A paper and pen

*A candle

*Incense

Do like this!

* Cast a protective circle around you. Light your candle and call in your Spirit Guides. Say out loud: Spirit Guides and Ancestors I call upon you to guide and protect me. Help me create a magickal Sigil.

*Smudge yourself and your props.

*Sit for a while and contemplate what your intentions are. Write down your intentions on your piece of paper. Write your intention in a very clear and direct way.

You could write it as a single word,”peace, riches, marriage, health, partnership,”or you could write it as a statement I am healthy, I am abundant, I am married to x, I am travelling to Spain”. Or more elaborate “peace of mind, letting go of the past, healing my heart, becoming stronger”.

*Cross out all the vowels. Eliminate all double or repeating consonants.

*Arrange the remaining letters in a pictorial structure. Ideas; the figure 8, a star, a heart or a pyramid shape.

Now you have the rough sketch of your Sigil.

*The next step is to transfer that image to your stone, final paper or canvas.

*The last part of the Spellwork is to activate your Sigil. You can activate it in several ways. The activation happens when you charge the Sigil with energy, that can be done with light, with reiki, through prayer or with crystals. Read below how to charge it with the help of the moonlight:

Put the Sigil in your window where the moonlight can touch it and leave it over night. You can also add a prayer. Look at the moon, hold your hands over the Sigil and say out loud: Great Moon in the sky. Activate my Sigil. Shower it in your light. Bless it with your power. Let it at least be bathing in the moonlight for some hours.

*The next morning your Sigil is active. Keep it in your altar. Meditate with it. The Sigil serves as a reminder and binder of your intentions.
